Poo-Tons are Designer, or Hybrid dogs, a cross between a Coton de Tuléar and a Toy Poodle. The Coton de Tuléar is a calm small dog. It is named for the city of Tuléar in Madagascar and for its cotton-like coat. The difference between a Hybrid dog and a mutt, is that the Hybrid has a documented purebred ancestry, and one knows for sure what it is. We register our Hybrid/Designer pups with Continental Kennel Club.
Like the Bichon or Havanese (Coton's cousin), this breed has very low allergic affects, and are considered hypoallergenic. Poo-Tons coats are very soft, comparable to a cotton ball, a prominent black nose, large expressive eyes (usually covered by bangs) and somewhat short puffy legs.
Our puppies have a 16 pound Coton de Tuléar mother and 8 pound Brindled Toy Poodle father. Our babies will grow to about 12 pounds. They are raised using the Monks of New Skete and Cesar Millan's techniques, in the living room. We play with them several times daily, while teaching them manners. We take them outside to go potty and puppy pad training indoors. The pups are accustomed to full baths, hand-scissoring, toenail clipping, children, other dogs.
They have had their dew claws removed and will come with age appropriate shots and health checks and a health guarantee. The pups will be ready for adoption on February 27th and will come with toys, health records, food packet, CKC registration papers and general information about the breed.
