Volunteers Kristin And Micah came across this hunky polydactyl roaming around their East Hills neighborhood in mid-August, xxxx, but it took them almost 2 weeks to catch and confine him, finally opting to keep him indoors until we could take him into the program on August 27th. Although this stunning gentleman was neutered, he had no collar or microchip to identify him or an owner, and since he has been out and about for quite some time without anyone posting signs or ads for him, we considered him a stray in need. Upon arrival at the vet clinic he appeared pretty healthy, save for a sparse hair coat secondary from over grooming, probably due to a previous felt infestation). A solid, sturdy, stand-up kind of guy, Salinger weighed in at 12# of pure muscular magnificence! I have to say that I was immediately taken by his charming, people-pleasing purrsonality, but then I got a good look at those toes and I was pawsitively awe-struck! He is the complete package of looks, likability and loveliness, but those extra appendages push him over the edge into over-the-top territory! One at Crash's, Salinger (born in the summer of xxxx) immediately set out to make human friends, beckoning with the glance of an eye and tempting with an outstretched thumb...or two! One in his grip, no one can resist his winsome ways, as not only does sweet Salinger catch your eye, but your heart as well! He gets long fine with his other feline counterparts, but really enjoys the company of the people in his presence. I can't imagine why anyone would discard this dashing boy, but their loss is most certainly our gain - at least until he steals your interest and makes one lucky adopter his very own!
