Up for sale is one ( 1 ) LOT of a GRAVELY LAWN AND GARDEN TRACTOR MODEL L AND FOUR WHEEL BROCHURES, ACCESSORY LITERATURE, LETTERS FROM MANUFACTURER, SHOP MANUALS DEAR GRAVELY, SERVICE DATA, PARTS AND SERVICE INVOICES, PRICE LISTS 69 PIECES TOTAL. plus a bonus lot of 15 pieces of Economy Tractor, Bolens Tractors, Gilson, Sears brochures etc.
All of the pictures shown with stuff spread on the floor is intended to give the viewer an idea of what all is included in the lot. They have not been stored that way; they have been in enveloped and in a closed cardboard box. Dates range from the mid xxxx's to xxxx's
These brochures, papers, manuals etc. have been in my family starting about xxxx, my dad bought a used model L at that time. He liked it so much he ordered a brand new model L the following year. After he passed away, I continued to use it until the mid xxxx's at which time I traded it for a used 12 horse four wheeler with a 50" inch deck. I thought it would be just a wee bit faster than the 30" model L.
I sold all of the Gravely equipment 5 years ago, tractors, mowers, plows. everything. Fast forward to this month when I found this box of Gravely material in the basement that I had forgotten about years ago. Yea I spent an hour or two remembering all the fun as a kid getting pulled by my dad on the Gravely and pulling my kids around too with the four wheel Gravely. And fighting the winters with snow blowers and plowing the gardens many a spring with that wonderful rotary gizmo. But it is time for others to maybe enjoy looking through all this material and trading or adding to their active collections.
